Keen Garrity

Storybook Pop Rock

a woman stands against a white brick wall and window. She is wearing a white collared blouse emblazoned with a black starling pattern. Her auburn hair is worn down with loose curls.

About

Keen Garrity is creating a catalog of emotional postmodern balladry that references everything from Morricone to Goethe – all while trying not to take itself *too* seriously. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Garrity (Rebekah Burchfield) is the granddaughter / grand-niece of the Capitol Americana duo The Burchfield Brothers.

Her self-produced 2021 debut album Get Big explores themes of self mythology and expansion amidst a landscape of grand rock arrangements layered with background vocals.

Garrity’s sophomore album Atomic Hymns serves as the philosophical counterpoint to Get Big as it deals with smallness, granularity and death as the precursor to rebirth.

the background is stardust against a velvet black night. in bold letters, "Keen Garrity Atomic Hymns" lay over the stardust.
